Monday!

Got lots of things to do today. House chores and study. Yes, I'm trying to study for CCNA and PMP certifications. But, laziness often gets the better of me.

As of this writing I'm doing the laundry. I am glad that automatic washing machine was invented. Later I'd be ironing the clothes. Then prepare our dinner. Hay domestic life.

It's my fault and have said my sorry countless times, but it's unfortunate that after 10 years she still decides to stay where we left off. Being estranged with your friend is more painful than breakups with boyfriends.

I remember my old flame. If this song was played years ago, I could totally relate and think would even shed a tear or two. It was my most stupid love affair but the most memorable. Looking back, I'm glad it happened because now I am happier. I found someone much more and way way more than like him.

I Am Going Home

4th!

I am the ultimate jet setter. After arriving from a 7-hour trip of Saudi to Singapore at 5pm I took a few hours rest for another flight to the Philippines at 12am. We arrived at the Philippines at around 5am.

4 years ago, today, we said our I Do and today we are celebrating it in a restaurant along N. Garcia formerly Reposo St. which we've been wanting to try for three years. When we were still in Makati, every time we pass by it we always wish we could try it out and validate if the reviews are really true.


We took a 7-course meal at L'Incontro for P1,250 per head valued at P2,550 at Deal Grocer, https://dealgrocer.com/

My meal, Menu B - Vegetarian Meal.
Grilled Eggplant with Goat Cheese. I so like the charcoal taste of eggplant. This is so good.


Squash Soup. Your usual soup. Nothing much to it.


Grilled eggplant Risotto with Goat Cheese for the main meal. Too salty for me. I didn't enjoy it that much.


For dessert, pana cotta. Steak House was the best pana cotta I've ever tasted.

For his appetizer, tahong! Love this. It was so good. Everything was just right.


Mushroom Ravioli. This is very good! Right creaminess.

I call this pinasosyal na corned beef! It was oily. I hope they used olive oil. He didn't like it.

We finished off our dinner with limoncillo.


The ambiance was romantic and felt like we're in the classic Italian restaurant.



Maybe we were not served with the best main meal that's why we're not that satisfied. That's the disadvantage of a course meal, I guess. All in all the experience was good. It was a nice place to spend a romantic date. Quiet and serene.

By the way, on our way here we saw this lady at the GB5 after the mass.

I like her get up. Cool and chic!

Red Sand

Yesterday I had headache, more of a migraine. I can't seem to stand the bright light. This is because we went to the Red Sand and it was so hot, as expected.

We woke up at around 4am to prepare the food that we're going to have for a picnic lunch.

5am Kuya Buboy, tatay's cousin came to our place to pick us up.

Road to Red Sand, at a little past 6am, said to be where Moses opened the sea.

We continued to our adventure and left the Red Sand after about 30minutes. I saw these camels near where the car is parked.
First time to see camels!



We had our lunch at the "Hidden Valley". They said that this place used to be beautiful and with cave where you can find a shade to enjoy the place and picnic. Since there was no other better spot we had our lunch under this leaves-less bush.


We left the place at about 9am and dropped by to this place where 4-wheeled AT motors are rented 25SR for 1 hour.

I think we were just able to use the motor for about 30minutes. It was so hot that you'll not be able to stand the heat especially if you're not wearing any sunblock.

Arrived home at 11am and after some few minutes I hit the sack to get some nap and when I woke up, headache. Aspirin did not help so I slept earlier than usual last night and when I woke up this morning I feel good. I'm going to miss Riyadh despite the heat, really.

The Globe, Again

The Globe, yet, again, in the late afternoon. This is around 630pm.



This time it's a different experience. We were laughing through out the time because it was sooo windy!
